HBEC’s Feed-Forward Event (June 30th @ Sandbox Centre)

Many are asking what is next for HBEC?

It is important that we find a leader for HBEC who is committed to building on the Centre’s strong foundation, can provide strategic leadership that aligns with Georgian College’s mission, vision and strategic plan, and meets the goals and needs of our community partners and members. As such, over the coming months we will engage in consultations with the community and with our partners.

In the interim I will serve as the Acting Director of the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre, in addition to my existing role as Executive Director of Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I will work closely with the team to ensure that HBEC continues to provide its valuable services and supports to the entrepreneurs in our region. This opportunity will allow me to connect with our community on a deeper level, from the entrepreneurship lens. If you see me in the community, please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself so I can get to know you and your business, and understand the great things you are doing!

As we start our search to fill Sara’s incredibly big shoes, we have put together some drop-in sessions that you can attend and provide feed-forward. We would love to hear from you!
